This is formed from the remains of worn down volcanic islands which were deposited some 430 million years ago. When the Mourne Mountain granites were intrududed as molten rock into these older rocks some 56 million years ago, the great heat from the granites hardened the older rocks, allowing them to be cut, polished and shaped into Angela’s unique jewellery.
